Welcome to Torbay BMX Club
Torbay BMX Club is a friendly BMX club based at the Parkfield site in Paignton. The club is run by a committee of volunteers and offers riders the chance to experience our national standard track and enjoy regular coaching sessions with qualified British Cycling coaches.
The track was built in 2011 and was initially run as an “open” track. Sadly, due to the track being abused and with not enough resources available to keep on top of the ongoing repairs, over time the track became unsafe and un-rideable.
Since forming the club in 2015 we raised the funding required to erect a fence and make it a closed track. As a result we are now able to ensure that the track is maintained to a high standard and remains safe for all our members and visiting riders.
Safety On The BMX Track
When riding the track bikes must be well maintained and fitted with a working brake. Stunt pegs are not permitted on the track at any time.
Any riders not wearing the correct safety equipment will not be permitted to ride.
